Job Description
Execution of basic, routine jobs comprised of several tasks needed to insure proper maintenance of YASREF equipment and facilities. Work assignment may occur in a shop environment or in any field installation throughout the Company; assignments can consist of work in any of the craft skills: (i) Metal (ii) Mechanical Pipe Fitting
Skills
Functional Responsibilities:
1. Manage the maintenance requirements of assigned area through work orders, preventative maintenance requirements, emergency calls, etc.
2. Evaluate and estimate work layouts and the time and materials necessary to complete the task.
3. Analyse and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications and drawings to determine job requirements.
4. Handle two-way communication with dispatch, other craftsman, supervisor and administrative staff.
5. Communicate and coordinate work with other shop crews as necessary.
6. Collaborate with YASREF personnel regarding job requests and outcomes.
7. Operate tools and equipment associated with the trade, as well as preparing them for tasks.
8. Maintain accurate work order records and parts inventory.
9. Maintain clean, safe and orderly work space.
10. Implement all repair procedures following supervisory approval.
11. Evaluate equipment and initiates Inventory Control Form. Procure parts and services with vendors.
12. Provide support to senior craftsmen in the execution of particular jobs.
13. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Education
Two (2) years Diploma in MechanicalEngineering or equivalent.
