Environmental Advisor

1. Perform the day-to-day work in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.

2. Assist in the development of environment procedures, objectives and targets and integration of Environment Policy with company Health Safety and Environment policy.

3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that environmental standards and guidelines are being adhered to and report any deviations from environmental policies and procedures.

4. Assist in conducting complex analyses on products and operations processes to determine their compliance with environmental standards and report any deviation from standards.

5. Coordinate the gathering of routine operational data for reporting of environmental emissions and discharges.

6. Communicate guidance and recommended environment procedures and programs to field engineering groups and serve as an environmental consultant to personnel of other divisions.

7. Coordinate and participate in local and corporate compliance reviews and represent YASREF on compliance matters with regulatory authorities.

8. Assist in reviewing and consolidating reports on environmental audits and elaborate to management on audit findings and industrial environmental compliance.

9. Plan the technical aspects of YASREF’s departments’ environment projects, including solution to specific pollution problems or troubles, based on and within the environmental discipline.

10. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
