Maintenance Coordinator

To provide necessary engineering support to OME teams to optimize Refinery operations. Manage and coordinate maintenance activities in YASREF plants and facilities to ensure reliable and efficient daily operations and ensure proper maintenance activities scheduling to meet the plants’ production, safety and environmental requirements

1. Visit the assigned unit area(s), review performance and attend OME daily meetings. Provide OME team with the necessary support to maintain high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

2. Plan, prioritize and implement all maintenance activities as well as the equipment performance reports recommendation.

3. Supervise the implementation of maintenance daily and weekly schedules. This includes planning, coordination, preparations and execution.

4. Discuss the plant performance with respective OME team and identify required maintenance activities to resolve pertinent issues.

5. Participate in preparing and issuing Job Safety Analysis for critical maintenance jobs.

6. Supervise critical maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to DCS and Field Operators.

7. Participate in taking corrective actions in case of operation upset in accordance with the relevant policies and instructions in coordination and communication with respective Shift Supervisor and impacted parties.

8. Carryout regular field inspections within the area to identify and eliminate unsafe conditions.

9. Inspect / test damaged machine parts and ensure the availability of critical spare parts, oil and chemical stock.

10. Coordinate equipment isolation and preparation to implement scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.

11. Keep records of incidents repairs and trips for future reference.

12. Ensure the implementation of all YASREF safety, environmental and health protection policies and procedures.

13. Perform other job-related duties as requested by the Foreman and OME team.
