T/A Planner I

To prepare and develop turnaround and major shutdown plans and schedules in compliance with YASREF strategies and operational priorities (profit, safety, reliability, and environmental requirements), and provide on-going technical support to ensure proper implementation of these plans.

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Perform the day-to-day work in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.

2. Follow up on work progress during turnaround and major shutdowns, reallocate resources as needed and take corrective actions throughout the process.

3. Assist in preparing progress reports for turnaround and major shutdown projects.

4. Assist the operations and maintenance personnel to collect and compile data to generate turnaround and major shutdown planning details and define critical path, activity logic, resource levels, estimated budget and expected outcomes.

5. Assist in preparing risk analysis for turnaround and major shutdowns to identify risks and develop contingency plans, actions and recommendations to manage those risks.

6. Prioritize and reschedule pending or backlog activities based on availability of resources in coordination with the turnaround team.

7. Assist in providing accurate data to feed into the preparation of turnaround annual budgets, cost projections and budget proposals.

8. Assist in preparing statistical maintenance and technical reports related to any turnaround activities.

9. Maintain and record turnaround and major shutdown data.

10. Utilize SAP system, computer programs and software, such as Excel spread sheets, Project Management and databases, to ensure effective implementation of turnaround and major shutdown plans.

11. Provide the necessary assistance to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

Two (2) year Technical Diploma or equivalent.
