JOB SCOPE
Ensure to carry out field operating duties with diligence and to ensure safe and reliable performance of the
plant/facility in compliance with operational priorities. Respond to any emergency situation in accordance with
standard procedures and/or instructions from the Shift Supervisor. Manage and resolve technical problems,
provide timely & efficient communications. Effectively respond to operational abnormalities.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform the day-to-day work in order ensure reliable operation. Ensure to comply with safety, health and environmental standards.
2. Efficiently monitor plant/facility operating conditions to meet the required product(s) specifications. Use established reporting systems (i.e. Ops log book) to document plant/facility operating parameters and maintenance activities.
3. Monitor operating parameters and discuss the necessary changes with supervisor and diligently follow the advice, instruction, caution, procedure.
4. Identify potential operating problems and handle emergency situations in accordance with set standard procedures and instructions.
5. Report breaches to safety standards and safety incidents accurately and on a timely basis. Take corrective actions to resolve the safety issue/situation.
6. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
7. Handle the start-up or shutdown activities according to the approved operating procedures and general instructions.
8. Participate in identifying, planning and implementing work process improvement opportunities.
9. Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and process disruptions. Perform role & responsibilities as per ERP during emergency.
10. Prepare equipment for maintenance activities as per the operation instruction manual. Work closely with maintenance and contractors, ensuring permits and equipment isolation(s) are conforming to YASREF business processes.
11. Monitor environmental limits & arrange the disposal of plant hazardous waste to comply with environmental regulations.
12. Achieve job certification tasks as per plan. Under the guidance of supervisor ensure to apply skills and knowledge gained.
13. Report on time the plant abnormalities to direct supervisor & ensure visibility at site during shift hours.
14. Monitor conditions of all equipment within the unit as per operation instruction manual & process planned parameters.
15. Carry out routine operational and housekeeping activities to sustain plant capacity according to operational, safety, health, environmental, reliability and engineering standards.
16. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct Supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirements: Two (2) years Diploma in Process, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
