Job Description
1. Assist in delivering significant information and recommendations as input to the procurement policy and procedure development process at YASREF.
2. Assist in representing YASREF in contract negotiations and strive to secure competitive bids while ensuring the strict and rigors implementation of the code of ethics and conduct.
3. Support in building long term relationships with suppliers. Ensure that the company’s pool of qualified suppliers is current.
4. Conduct analysis to identify present and future material availability and ensure adequate level of material is available at all times.
5. Assess vendor performance and monitor the quality of the vendor’s service, materials and equipment, and report any major issues to the direct supervisor.
6. Help in managing the RFQs, evaluate the quotes, and handle the awarding of purchase orders.
7. Audit the emergency purchases log.
8. Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. Record any significant issues for future reference.
9. Process and validate bills for payment.
10. Mentor/coach lower level team members.
11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering or Equivalent
