Clinic Administrator

Job Description

  1. Provides direction to ensure the delivery of high quality health care standards is being provided to employees or patients. Makes recommendations and implements programs to measure and improve provider/patient relationship.

 

2. Ensure day-to-day clinical work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely in order to increase employee safety and to promote safety, compliance & environmental standards.

 

 

3. Oversees the activities of the Medical Records Team and ensures that the appointment, report, messenger and audit functions are effectively carried out.

 

 

4. Determines clinic fiscal requirements, makes projections and prepares the Clinic’s budget. Monitors, verifies and reconciles expenditure of budgeted funds. Prepares financial statements reflecting status of programs and activities.

 

 

5. Maintains liaison with all levels of clinical and administration staff, physicians and outside organizations to coordinate clinic business, accomplish directives and to facilitate the resolution of issues, concerns and problems.

 

 

6. Develops operating policies and procedures for YASREF Clinic. Ensures compliance with established practices and new policies and keeps employees abreast of current changes and standards

 

 

7. Participate in clinic business Plan. Manage the execution and control clinic annual budget, Provides direction for the Pharmacy team and ensures that dispensation of medicine are properly prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provides information to patients about medications and their use.

 

 

8. Manages the Clinical Nursing Team and ensures the delivery of high quality standards of nursing services, Develops and implements Take Care programs, involving Clinical Patient Services, Preventive Care Services, Risk Management, Quality Care, Case Management, and Disease Management.

 

 

9. Communicate occupational health policies and procedures to operations and maintenance functions to ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities in terms of occupational health and industrial hygeine. Develops strategic plans and programs for YASREF Clinic and ensures that goals and objectives of the team are properly defined and clearly established.

 

 

10. Ensures that operating expenses are well within the prescribed limits of budget plans and fiscal guidelines.

 

 

11. Reviews and evaluates the performance of the Clinic on regular and periodic basis, and ensures that the overall performance of the clinic is on track, and well within the pre-established goals and objectives.

 

 

12. Consolidates performance status reports of the clinics as basis for monitoring the weekly progress of the various activities within the clinics.

 

 

13. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Health & Environment Compliance Superintendent.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration and Management or related field. (Master’s preferred).
