Contract Advisor

1. Participate in contract drafting and review all contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance and accuracy.

2. Manage all outsourced services issues and ensure required quality and on time delivery is achieved from each vendor.

3. Analyse and monitor vendors’ performance, funding, and payments on assigned contracts and notify contract division head of potential non-compliance and other problems that could have an adverse impact to YASREF.

4. Manage the processing of purchase requisition’s, proposal request, bid evaluation and awarding of contracts and ensure all contract information are updated in the contract’s database with accurate and complete information.

5. Ensure the validity of the required bank guarantees and insurance policies for all assigned contracts, after verifying the contract requirements.

6. Participate in contract disputes, claim resolutions and outside audits; review and resolve issues affecting assigned business unit or company compliance and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements, company and customer objectives. 7. Develop and train junior employees in the contract administration process 8. Meet with contract division head and other Supply Chain divisions for procedure development and clarification. 9. Prepare along with the contract proponent representative Tender Review Committee (TRC) papers. 10. Participate with contract proponent representative and finance in the negotiation and settlement of change orders. 11. Participate in bid slate development through solicitation of interest and prequalification.

12. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Contracts Division Head.
