Electrical Technician II

1. Works on Job Tasks per the JTS Book
2. Performs a range of general electrical work in any commercial including offices or more routine electrical fitting tasks in industrial plants.
3. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies in the shop or field, equipment, motors, systems and control devices in oil producing, processing, shipping, power generation or distribution facilities.
4. In the shop, analyses faults, disassembles equipment and appliances, makes wiring diagrams, replaces or repairs parts and reassembles motors, generators, control panels and switch gear.
5. In the field, work includes layout, assembly, installation, testing, repair and safety checks on Company-wide systems/equipment.
6. Works from wiring diagrams and other engineering drawings.
7. Installs lighting fixtures and power equipment.
8. Maintains and repairs electrical fixtures and equipment.
9. May remove, dismantle and overhaul motors or circuit breakers.
10. Works to IEE Wiring regulations and company codes. Requisitions materials needed for work.
11. May maintain small electrical equipment such as projectors, fans and other domestic appliances.
12. Uses normal range of electrical hand tools including circuit test equipment.
13. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by his direct supervisor
