Environmental Unit Supervisor

1. Ensure day-to-day work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.

2. Supervise and monitor regular inspections during operations and maintenance work to ensure that environmental standards and guidelines are being adhered to and report any deviations.

3. Manage complex analyses on products and operations processes to determine their compliance with environmental standards and report any deviation from standards.

4. Participate in developing environmental policies in compliance with legal requirements, industry standards and best practices.

5. Communicate environmental policies to OME personnel and ensure compliance and environemntal awarness.

6. Lead and supervise gathering routine operational data for reporting of environmental emissions and discharges.

7. Ensure proper guidance is provided to field engineering groups and serve as an environmental consultant to personnel of other divisions.

8. Conduct local and corporate compliance reviews and represent YASREF on compliance matters with regulatory authorities.

9. Coordinate the planning of technical aspects of YASREF’s environmental projects and recommend solutions to specific environmental issues.

10. Review and consolidate reports on environmental audits and present audit findings and provide feedback on industrial environmental compliance to management.

11. Ensure proper implementation of improvement initiatives and corrective actions resulting from audit findings.

12. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

13. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Health & Environment Compliance Superintendent.
