Job Description
1. Provides technical assistance to fire team/ project engineers and other professionals in interpreting and complying with fire codes and standards; review all company projects and modifications to provide any fire protection recommendations.
2. Respond to all fire/emergency alarms in expedient/efficient manner and provide any fire protection technical information to Fire Protection Superintendent of Incident Commander.
3. Evaluates process engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and other documentation for compliance with fire codes, standards, and regulation.
4. Conduct fire risk assessment and develop the contingency plan to prevent fire and to mitigate and risk.
5. Serves as Center of Expertise representative during concept development; controls life safety design during initial phases of facility design and advises on concepts/designs regarding fire protection engineering.
6. Develop, conduct and participate in a variety of in-house training programs for Fire Protection section personnel on the latest fire protection standards.
7. Conduct audits/inspections/test to verify the readiness of all fire protection unit equipment/vehicles and firefighting/protection equipment.
8. Assist to develop drill scenario based of fire risk assessment.
9. Recommend and develop any required projects for the capital budget to improve the fire protection in the company.
10. Develop and update the fixed fire equipment and the fire protection system testing procedure as per national/international standards. Provide any training of technical assistance to complete the testing programs.
11. Participate in Accident investigation specifically for Fire accidents and provide required technical recurring is maintained according to Fire Protection standards.
12. Responsible to follow up all Fire Protection Projects and ensure a complete complains with standards and codes.
13. Assist in developing the standard Operation procedure for Fire Protection Section activities.
14. Assist in developing and updating the emergency manual and Pre-plans.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Fire Protection Manager.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent along with certification in Fire safety.
