Job Description

Managerial Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direction and lead direct reports in performing their roles and responsibilities.
  2. Conduct performance appraisal reviews for direct reports, identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional competencies and knowledge.
  3. Review all periodic performance reports to ensure the effective implementation for YASREF’s strategies and operational priorities (Profit, reliability, safety and environmental requirements) and identify improvement opportunities and propose / implement improvement actions.
  4. Execute Department/ Division strategy and operational plans and manage the Division’s annual budget, to meet set objectives and performance targets.
  5. Ensure that the performance of various responsibilities and the conduct of the staff in the Division are in accordance with the YASREF’s policies and procedures.
  6. Ensure the availability of required resources to carry out all the responsibilities related to the Division.

Functional Responsibilities:

  1. Lead HR service team on Personnel Administration matters. Implement best HR Service practice in their respective areas and ensure that all HR policies and procedures are aligned with the Company’s HR strategies.
  2. Ensure effective implementation of personnel administration functions through systems and procedure, as well as adequate maintenance of personnel records.
  3. Develop internal communication plan and ensure effective internal communication among the Company’s personnel at all levels.
  4. Supervise the implementation and review of induction and orientation programs for newly hired employees.
  5. Establish criteria to measure the employee service performance. Monitor and take remedial action where the desired level of customer service performance is not being achieved.
  6. Employee care unit will coordinate with HR business partners, proponent department, employees, internal HR teams to resolve the people and organization issues in timely manner and brining utmost satisfaction.
  7. Administer internal customer’s (employees and proponent department) requirement and provide speedy and quality employee and HR services. Treat internal customers with a high level of customer satisfaction, cooperation, communication and enthusiasm.
  8. Supervises the provision of Medical facilities and Medical insurance matters; scrutiny of bills, and reimbursement of legitimate amounts to the employees.
  9. Liaises with the Ministry of Labor to discuss labor laws and compliance matters.
  10. Supervises processing all personnel action procedures for leaves, holidays, sickness, travel, grievances, corrective action, and application of Labor Regulations, fulfilling GOSI requirements, administration of medical insurance and ensuring equitable application of human resources policies throughout the company operations.
  11. Advise subordinates on Personnel Administration best practice in their respective areas and ensure that all HR policies and procedures are aligned with the Company’s HR strategies.
  12. Ensure that all employees disciplinary and grievances actions are properly handled keeping the YASREF reputation and credibility in mind. Provide professional counseling, support, and information to the Management regarding the same.
  13. Participate in development of policies, systems & procedures and programs relating to the activities of the HR Services. Ensures their proper implementation, as approved by the management.
  14. Recommend periodical reviews of the employee relations Policies and Procedures to ensure alignment with current laws and regulations; suggest improvements to Policy Planning team.
  15. Ensure quality and timely completion of work or HR Service projects with Leadership, Analytical thinking, Communication, Teamwork & collaboration, to achieve the set objectives.
  16. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
