Job Description
1. Ensure day-to-day work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.
2. Participate in the development of inspection strategies and plans in coordination with concerned organizations.
3. Develop the Inspection Division’s policies, procedures and instructions in accordance with the best practices.
4. Attend regular meetings with other concerned Maintenance, Operations, and Process Engineering to ensure that inspection and corrosion control activities are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered on a priority basis.
5. Manage and review all inspection related tendering and contracting activities on static pressure equipment and ensure compliance to contract conditions and recommend changes to the scope of work.
6. Encourage and control the application and adherence of all subordinates and contractors to YASREF’s policies and procedures with regards to health, safety, environment and quality regulations and standards.
7. Participate in the investigation of incidents to ensure the effective implementation of YASREF’s safety policies and adequate maintenance of static pressure equipment.
8. Stay abreast with new inspection techniques and technologies and participate in regional and international conference and exhibitions concerning inspection activities.
9. Submit regular progress reports on inspection services contracts and highlight any pending issues or problems that need high-level intervention.
10. Implementation and update the inspection strategies and Risk-Based Inspection Plans in line with YASREF’s objectives and industry best practises.
11. Provide technical support to maintenance teams on static pressure equipment inspections, evaluations, repairs and modifications.
12. Approve all major modifications to the Process Units, Utilities and Static Pressure Equipment.
13. Ensure maintaining a database of static pressure equipment history and ensure that all equipment data are updated and well-organized for easy reference.
14. Review and validate inspection reports submitted by Inspectors.
15. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards
16. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Quality Control & Compliance Manager.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
