IT Projects Manager

1.     Lead in planning, executing, monitoring and controlling of projects to ensure a timely implementation

2.     Plan and forecast the IT enhancement and implementation projects aligning with the IT Strategy to fulfil all business requirements.

3.     Develop cost estimates and share the required budget details with the IT Manager, for the planned projects including CAPEX and OPEX.

4.     Determine available resources and define project scope by coordinating with the respective stakeholders.

5.     Coordinate with the Supply Chain department to ensure all required contractual clauses are well incorporated in all contract related documents.

6.     Evaluate the contractor performance, and set phase wise action plan and track the progress on a regular basis.

7.     Monitor and analyze the project expenditures and contractor performance to efficiently apply corrective measures

8.     Conduct counselling sessions with the vendors in case of low performance levels and issue warning aligning with the Supply Chain processes.

9.     Present comprehensive reports to the IT Manager, documenting all project requirements and the status of completion, dependencies and challenges.

10.  Identify and evaluate potential risks and incorporate necessary controls during the project initiation phase to address the identified risks.

11.  Ensure contracts are in place to support the services provided by the IT Department.

12.  Establish service level agreements and negotiate access agreements.

13.  Manage contracts with vendors and software licenses.

14.  Coordinate with OE (Operational Excellence) team to ensure quality models are introduced as per the guidelines of Operational Excellence guidelines.

15.  Coordinate with internal control team to ensure internal controls are well established, monitored and complied. Ensure procedural risks are addressed, resolved and not repeated.

16.  Ensure the invoices submitted by contractors are supported with relevant documentation to demonstrate the completion of the milestones or deliverables.

17.  Develop plans to optimize the annual expenditures by following a tactical and strategic approach.

18.  Assist the respective proponents with developing the project scope of work.

19.  Develop a contingency plan to address any unforeseen risks to the delivery of the project.

20.  Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
