IT System Analyst

1. Assist in development of procedures related to business processes and modelling, requirements, design, development, testing, integration and deployment for full life-cycle refinery activities.

2. Participate in the development of refinery operations applications business cases and the selection of the most effective solution based on YASREF requirements and upcoming projects.

3. Support in defining and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) protocols to ensure that operational and IT deliverables meet the requirements of YASREF guidelines.

4. Participate with the IT staff in understanding refinery operational needs for both automated and manual solutions to business systems and procedures.

5. Participate in analyzing and share technical recommendations for the improvement of processes and systems to provide the basis for management decisions.

6. Support process team efforts with regards to IT upgrades and enhancements, ensuring that technology is appropriately used to support processes and improve efficiencies.

7. Support the IT / network staff to ensure optimization of system performance both HW and SW standpoint.

8. Participate on-going training for system users, deliver training sessions as required, and promote web-based training as needed, in collaboration with HR.

9. Continuously monitor system releases and developments for applicability to YASREF.

10. Administration of the technology system and perform preventive maintenance activities. 

11. Apply access and security controls on servers, applications and security systems. 

12. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field.
