Job Description
1. Ensure timely and accurate installation of communication lines for computers, printers, and telephone systems as per diagrams and manuals.
2. Conduct problem analysis for complex data communication problems and create inventive resolutions through designing troubleshooting guides for common or recurring problems and
errors.
3. Stay abreast of new technology opportunities and recommend upgrades to YASREF’s Communication facilities.
4. Support the information technology personnel to ensure the reliability of the data communication functions.
5. Identify and fulfill the requirements of YASREF’s departments regarding telecommunications hardware, and follow-up on the installation and maintenance of associated cables, distribution
boxes and cable route markers.
6. Identify and provide inputs in design of preventive maintenance projects and ensure their implementation as per the set guidelines and policies.
7. Strive to build relationships with communication system vendors and stay abreast with new products and changes
8. Process all materials and supplies requests on time and recommend optimal stock levels for these supplies.
9. Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, procedures and regulations to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the IT operations administrator.

6. Information Protection.
Education
Two (2) years Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent. Technical certification is a plus.
