Job Description
1. Utilize Predictive Maintenance (PdM) technologies available (Vibration Analysis, Lube Oil Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasound, Motor Current Analysis, etc.) to determine the condition of facility’s assets. |

2. Utilize RCM principles or similar methodology to determine maintenance requirements of facility’s asset. |
||
3. Reviews and analyses vibration data collected on facility rotating equipment in an effort to identify deviation from acceptable vibration levels. |
||
4. Prepares technical reports with recommendations based on vibration analysis, as well as other Predictive Maintenance technologies, to ensure long term reliability of rotating equipment. |
||
5. Performs Quality Assurance / Quality Control checks on repaired equipment prior to installation and during re-commissioning. |
||
6. Reports any abnormalities found on equipment; troubleshoots to resolve issues; makes repair recommendations to his superior. |
||
7. Reviews transient data formats for turbo-machinery during all emergency shutdowns and on start-up subsequent to these events |
||
8. Provides input for Reliability monthly report with respect to Inspection activities. |
||
9. Use specialized testing equipment and troubleshoot complex equipment problems and develop effective resolutions. |
||
10. Maintaining records related to work performed including use of computers. |
||
11. Reading and interpreting plans, diagrams, drawings, instructions, and related technical materials |
||
12. Assist the Reliability and Maintenance Engineers, and TSD as required, to review the history record of failed equipment. |
||
13. Ability to build and configure equipment databases (rotating and electrical equipment) as part of overall Condition Monitoring program.

Education
Two year Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
