Lead Technician

1. Lead teams in assigned maintenance areas, special projects, and critical equipment repairs/shutdowns.

2. Receives safety documents from Supervisor or Foreman before the start of work.

3. Clears safety documents after satisfactory completion of work as certified by Foreman.

4. Carry-out maintenance and breakdown repair works in accordance with Maintenance Code of Practice, and complying with Safety Rules and System Operations Memoranda.

5. Responsible in the completion of works on time and the proper use of tools/devices and consumable items.

6. Reports any abnormalities found on equipment; troubleshoots to resolve issues; makes repair recommendations to his superior.

7. Prepares maintenance report after completion of work order.

8. Performing repairs, fabrication, operations and maintenance of maintenance systems and associated equipment

9. Use specialized testing equipment and troubleshoot complex equipment problems and develop effective resolutions.

10. Operating and maintaining tools and equipment of the trade.

11. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work such as customers, project managers, inspectors, and other crafts, including assisting others and working cooperatively.

12. Maintaining records related to work performed including use of computers.

13. Reading and interpreting plans, diagrams, drawings, instructions, and related technical materials

14. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by his direct supervisor

15. Assist the Reliability and Maintenance Engineers, and TSD as required, to review the history record of failed equipment.
