Job Description
1. Follow up expediting matters related to company purchased goods; closely follow up with vendors upon PO placement to ensure delivery of items on time.
2. Obtain required data elements from the Vendor and provide to the Logistics Coordinator for transportation, import, export, and compliance execution.
3. Obtain documents timely from the suppliers in agreement with the PO and contractual terms.
4. Inform the Planning/Scheduling Manager and Package Leads, of any delays in receiving information/product from the Vendor.
5. Interfacing with suppliers for progressing materials, equipment and documentation.
6. Achieve delivery of equipment, materials and documentation on time
7. Prepare expediting reports at the end of each operation, update materials information systems, and the required expediting reports.
8. Coordinate and control external company services in areas of expediting.
9. Daily review the report for expediting new PO’s.
10. Update future expediting PO’s with expediting date for later reporting.
11. Coordinate and control external company services in areas of expediting.
12. Liaising effectively and fostering relationships with suppliers and clients.
13. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education
Diploma in Business, Engineering or equivalent.
