Maintenance Engineer II

1. Perform the day-to-day work in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.

2. Work closely with OME team members to facilitate and coordinate maintenance related tasks and responsibilities.

3. Support maintenance planners and senior technicians in resolving complex maintenance issues.

4. Ensure the accuracy and validity of the equipment information in the SAP system for each respective area.

5. Participate and advise in identifying critical equipment needed for each respective area.

6. Monitor the use of critical spare parts inventory and to ensure the availability of critical spare parts for the respective equipment.

7. Conduct research about maintenance companies and generate a list of preferred suppliers.

8. Initiate and develop scope of work for normal maintenance and plant shutdown.

9. Prepare the technical requirements for contracts and services; and assist in developing RFPs and reviewing bidders’ qualifications.

10. Submit periodical reports concerning following-up work and appraise all final maintenance work.

11. Ensure the implementation of the systems and methods of maintenance work.

12. Discuss and recommend with respective OME team members corrective measures to fully implement maintenance schedule and programs including preventive and predictive maintenance activities.

13. Participate in preparing operating and business plans for the respective area/unit and facilitate the implementation for pertinent objectives.

14. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

15. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Engineering Unit Supervisor.
