Job Description
To oversee and direct routine and preventive maintenance planning activities and ensure that all maintenance activities are in compliance with YASREF strategies and operational priorities (profit, safety, reliability, and environmental requirements).
Skills
Managerial Responsibilities:
1. Produces Annual Integrated Plant Preventive Maintenance Plan in liaison with all other sections in the refinery and participate in identifying and executing improvement opportunities and action plans based on actual performance.
2. Assists in the preparation of short term plans for system reinforcement, diversion, modification and upgrading.
3. Prepares, schedules and coordinates weekly/monthly outage plan for maintenance works with O&M Sections.
4. Oversee the day-to-day work performed by all direct reports. Manage the budget allocation for the Section on an on-going basis. Perform periodic performance appraisals for direct reports
5. Monitors the execution of maintenance work plan and adjust the schedules accordingly.
6. Optimize the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned responsibilities and ensure timely completion according to set standards.
7. Identify the competencies and knowledge required for direct reports to perform their assigned responsibilities, and develop appropriate training plans to enhance performance.
8. Conducts site surveys, research and verification of technical details necessary in the proposal for system upgrading, modifications, and maintenance related works.
9. Assists in formulating budget proposals and preparation of supporting documents for the department.
10. Cascade YASREF’s operational priorities including profitability, reliability, safety & environmental requirements to all direct reports and support them in executing the daily activities in line with these priorities.
Functional Responsibilities:
1. Ensure day-to-day work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.
2. Generates, analyzes and reports Fault/Defects statistical information and recommends necessary actions.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
