Mechanical Engineer ‎(Static Equipment‎)

Functional Responsibilities:

1.Support in developing Mechanical Engineering deliverables related with Engineering of static equipment & piping from Design, Study, Troubleshooting and Investigation.

2.Prepare / Review the design modifications for all types of mechanical equipment including vessels, drums, boilers and turbines etc. (and support systems) of requests approved by the change of management system or project management team.

3.Provide Engineering review and study to identify and recommend improvements for Mechanical static equipment and piping using all the available software tools such as Caeser II, 3D models.

4.Participate in reviewing and providing input to mechanical engineering design packages for Management of Changes (MOCs) during design basis scoping, MOC proposal and detailed design phases.

5.Develop / update and review the Standards related to Static equipment / piping.

6.Review Static equipment and piping related to Troubleshoot and provide inputs based on applicable mechanical standards and manuals with agreed upon changes.

7.Define the procedures and objectives to be carried out on major Mechanical equipment and Piping related to Yasref & International Standards.

8.Support Operation and Maintenance during planned and emergency shutdown, provide technical assistance and assist in resolving emergency situations arising in operation related to Mechanical equipment.

9.Prepare / Review Mechanical study failure report and shutdown incident report and provide Mechanical engineering recommendations related to static equipment and piping.

10.Recommend improvement plans for Mechanical Static equipment and Piping based on best practices and in compliance with Yasref and International Standards.

11.Fully comprehend and adhere to relevant safety and environmental policies as per Yasref Standards.

12.Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
