FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
2. Perform the day-to-day work in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.
3. Coordinate with team members in ensuring accurate production in terms of quality and quantity as directed by Operations Engineering Superintendent and ensure the correct implementation of the guidelines provided to Operations.
4. Ensure the process units are operating at optimum conditions to provide the maximum profit by applying engineering principles.

6. Prepare and supervise critical operational activities such as start-up, shutdown, and catalyst change, and provide technical support to the Shift Supervisors throughout these activities.
7. Participate and provide input for developing the budget for catalyst chemicals and utilities consumption and expenditure of materials (bulk material, tools, and work wear).
8. Participate in risk analysis and investigation of unusual operational or maintenance activities.
9. Encourage and control the permanent minimization of flare and waste production.
10. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Operations Engineering Superintendent.

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Seven (7) years of experience in Refinery operations.
