Job Description

JOB SCOPE

Provide professional support in Public Relation programs and activities. Ensure service activities are in compliance with YASREF strategies and operational priorities (profit, safety, reliability, and environmental requirements).

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Write text, such as stories, articles, editorials, or newsletters. Draft articles, write ups for various programs and activities in both Arabic and English as per the business requirements in coordination with proponent department.

2. Verify facts, dates, and statistics, ask for evidences before write ups from proponent. Post content creation ensure the content is vetted by proponent and it is error free content.

3. Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax. Read, evaluate and edit manuscripts or other materials submitted for publication and confer with authors regarding changes in content, style or organization, or publication.

4. Develop PR materials to communicate organizational activities that are beneficial to the environment, public safety, or other important social issues

5. Conduct various internal and external surveys, compile the results and prepare presentation material for administration and management purposes.

6. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Web sites.

7. Use computer software to generate new images. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer.

8. Take photographs for the events, edit, archive, and review sets of photographs to select the best suitable for the content creation. Develop visual aids, employ a variety of specialized photographic materials and techniques.

9. Determine formats, approaches, content, levels, and mediums to effectively deliver PR objectives within budgetary constraints, using research, knowledge, and training.

10. Maintain inventories of Cameras, equipment’s, software’s, audio and videotapes and related supplies.

11. Plan and develop pre-production ideas into outlines, scripts, story boards, and graphics, using own ideas or specifications of assignments. Read and analyse event plans and specifications to determine locations of subject material, work procedures, sequences of operations, and content/machine setups.

12. Provide presentation and product demonstration support during the introduction of new products and services to field staff and internal customers.

13. Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products. Attend or participate in conferences, community events, and promotional events related to products or technologies.

14. Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for internal customers to increase product or service awareness or to promote goodwill.

15. Develop communications materials, advertisements, presentations, or public relations initiatives , community development materials to promote awareness of Organization, products and services.

16. Consult with internal customers to determine objectives and requirements for events, such as meetings, conferences, displays, events and conventions.

17. Coordinate services for events, such as accommodation and transportation, facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security. Inspect event facilities to ensure that they conform to organization requirements.

18. Maintain records of event aspects, including financial details. Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any problems that arise.

19. Evaluate service providers/ vendors/ contractors according to organization requirements. Prepare requirement documents, vendor specification requirements and any other required documents. 20.

Consult with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media for products, organizations, or individuals.

21. Manage YASREF Corporate Social responsibilities and activities.
