Job Description
|
1. Systems include CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intrusion Detection, and Burglar Alarm, Camera (IP and Analog). |
|
2. Plan, analyze, design, implement, test, and troubleshoot systems. |
|
3. Manage IDAS and SACS controls systems |
|
4. Conduct site surveys of customer sites and plan and design system implementation. |
|
5. Monitor the development and deployment of national systems and provide installation support. |
|
6. Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or relevant systems |
|
7. Interacts with vendors for research and development efforts and installation support. |
|
8. Supervise security system teams and provide consulting. |
|
9. Provide the required training for new security systems technician. |
|
10. Follow all relevant sections policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in all controlled and consistent manner. |
|
11. Monitor the server log files and report problems if any to the senior team members. |
|
12. Conduct an initial diagnosis in cases of complaints and provide a temporary solution to resolve the problem at the earliest. |
|
13. Provide basic technical assistance to ensure smooth running of operations at all times and maintain uninterrupted flow of work. |
|
14. Participate in the maintenance of the safety and security system by implementing and enforcing the security policies and procedures using available system tools. |
|
15. Provide on-the-job training to new users to help them on how to use the security system applications/tools. |
|
16. Assist in the regular preventive maintenance checks on respective systems hardware and equipment using the corresponding testing methods to ensure that the general mechanical and physical features are in adequate operational condition and to report any need to further maintenance or replacement. |
|
17. Participate in conducting system tests to ensure familiarity and knowledge on system utilization. |
|
18. Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. |
|
19. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Technical & Support Superintendent. |

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
