Senior Inspector

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Perform the day-to-day work in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.

2. Lead to conduct schedule and non-scheduled inspection activities. Follow up on the implementation of inspection recommendation to ensure compliance with company specifications and standards.

3. Evaluate and ensure the Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) is done as per the welding procedures.

4. Reviews: a) Design Drawings and engineering specifications assuring that all applicable YASREF standards have been applied, b) Waiver requests to assure them accurately represent the conditions described, c) New and proposed standards for outdated, conflicting, ambiguous, or incorrect information d) QA/QC programs for compliance. Writes and/or reviews inspection reports, pre & post T< (>&<)>I reports, worksheets, non-compliance reports and verifies logbook entries of on-site inspection findings, ensures all hard copy and electronic databases are initiated and maintained.

5. Perform annual inspection surveys on mechanical equipment,( Pressure vessels, Heaters, Boilers, Storage Tanks, Piping, etc.).

6. Evaluate the inspection technical reports including finding and recommendations to resolve/prevent static equipment integrity problems.

7. Perform welding inspection on all static equipment by utilising non-destructive testing methods such as UT, PT, MT, and RT.

8. Review and update fabrication project packages based on YASREF specifications and international codes.

9. Conduct (onsite and shop) inspection on static equipment during fabrication and installation stages to ensure compliance with specifications.

10. Properly document and retain inspection records for findings, recommendations, inspection work sheets and actions taken for future reference and analysis.

11. Monitor all Inspection activities and ensure compliance with all company quality (procedures and programs). Conduct inspections of all static/rotating equipment.

12. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
