Job Description
|
1. Lead the assigned team |
|
2. Maximize the Reliability & Availability of plant analyzer equipment, and Carries out fault finding maintenance and modification on analysers installed at YASREF like ph conductivity, moisture, total sulphur, Advance sensor, PAC, ABB, Servomex, Antek, Sick, H2S, CO2, SO2, Oxygen analysers and gas chromatographs. |

3. Liaises with Operations, Maintenance and Technical Department personnel to resolve process and instrument related problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of the process and its control systems. |
|
4. Directs and participates in the inspection & testing of completed work ensuring quality & conformity to prescribed standards. |
|
5. Ensures Company standards, codes of practice and procedures and work permits procedures are complied with. |
|
6. Gives direction and on-the-job training to the Analyser Technicians, fitters and trainees assigned to work with him. Participate in preparation of on-job tasks for trainees. Develop and review procedures for PMs and troubleshooting. |
|
7. Prepares detailed scheduled maintenance procedures for new plant instrumentation. |
|
8. Updates drawings and instrument scheduled maintenance procedures following the completion of minor instrument changes and modifications on Analysers. |
|
9. Work with maintenance reliability engineer on upgrade / design instrument and electrical equipment. |
|
10. Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations |
|
11. Maintain / Update the job completion records. |
|
12. Identifies materials and spare parts requirements by the use of SAP computerized system and updates records and carryout PM activities as per SAP PM Schedule. |
|
13. Supervises the safe and efficient maintenance of plant equipment and personnel in accordance with the agreed and safe procedures. Having good knowledge in chemical hazards and MSDS. |
|
14. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by his direct supervisor |

Education
Two (2) years Diploma in Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering.
