Job Description

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Supervises the daily activities of business related to tanks farm & offsite areas: technical support, products movements from/to inter units, tanks, & terminals for shipping in coordination with MPD, process engineering & ARAMCO YNGL. During normal duties, silent hours, weekends, holidays.

 

2. Sets priorities for the team to ensure the quality of products will be maintained within spec and put contingency plan/actions in case of need in coordination’s with process engineering, laboratory and all plant units.

 

3. Manage timely delivery of products to YASREF terminals off takers & ARAMCO YNGL as specified by the Scheduling Sector and set control to avoid any demurrage, during normal duties, silent hours, weekends, holidays.

 

4. Ensure day-to-day work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely in order to increase refinery profit, enhance plant reliability/integrity, and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.

 

5. Optimize tank farm operations and safety, review schedule production programs and distribute work to staff accordingly.

 

6. Schedule production operations and ensure that the plant meets its maximum production capacity.

 

7. Lead the coordination / Liaise with YCOT, Marafiq, NGL and SABIC when required and requested to do so maintain production effectiveness and customer service.

 

8. Ensure the reliability of tank farm & offsite equipment by investigating all incidents proactively and implementing corrective actions.

 

9. Manage the quality and timely delivery of products as specified by the Scheduling Sector.

 

10. Ensure the reliability of production units by investigating all incidents proactively and implementing corrective actions.

 

11. Ensure process that inspect pumps, valves, piping, and electrical ground-wire connections and report leakages, temperature and pressure abnormalities, and other potential hazards.

 

12. Ensuring the environmental procedures and establish and control the execution of programs for the reduction of waste production and the correct disposal of wastes.

 

13. Supporting with maintenance concerning spare equipment needs as well as preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

 

14. Provide the necessary support to the respective OME team member before/after daily meetings to ensure high level of safety performance and comply with health, safety and environmental standards.

 

15. Oversee safe and reliable operation of the refinery Offsite Pipelines.

 

16. Ensuring to mobilize any required resources from Operation and Maintenance to isolate and repair any abnormal emergency situation to avoid any impact.

 

17. Ensuring the coordination / Liaise with YCOT, Marafiq, NGL and SABIC when required and requested to do so maintain production effectiveness and customer service.

 

18. Oversee on Handover the line with hydrocarbon free by Draining, purging activity for any Maintenance/ MOC project.

 

19. Perform other related duties as assigned by the reporting Supervisor.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Or

Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s: Twelve (12) years of experience in Refinery Management and Operations, of which minimum three (3) years in a Supervisory role.

Or

Diploma: Eighteen (18) years of experience in Refinery Management and Operations, of which minimum five (5) years in a Supervisory role.
